Lloyd Farms was born surrounded by tall prairie grasses, a rippling creek and strong, deep-rooted trees. Lloyd Farms was inspired to reflect this serene landscape through the creation of beautiful hand-crafted beeswax candles, giving you the opportunity to invite a bit of nature from the honeycomb into your home.
The tradition of natural beeswax dates back over many years beginning with the Egyptians and Persians who revered the material and used it in their religious ceremonies. In Roman times, beeswax was used as an alternative form of money to pay rents and taxes. In the Middle Ages, beeswax candles were hand made by artisans, used as payment for servants and afforded by only the wealthiest families and royalty.
Today, Lloyd Farms candles are still individually rolled by hand, with only 100% pure beeswax, gathered meticulously from honeycombs across North America.
100% beeswax candles produce a long lasting and clean burning flame. There are no synthetic fragrances added to our candles, yet they release a sweet honey aroma into the atmosphere.
